i found that Rorschach is one of the most Watchmen charters interesting because somehow he is mysterious look, specially his mask he's got that ink effect that makes him look some times like a "cow" (i quote that from my friend Gradly) but the mask is still awesome .. check the following if you are interested in reproducing it ..
